Featured Treatment: Microneedling

Microneedling is the featured treatment in our Age-Defying Skin Program for appropriately selected clients concerned about certain textural changes and fine lines.
This professional procedure uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, initiating a wound-healing response. Depending on the individual and treatment protocol, microneedling may help improve the appearance of selected concerns, including uneven texture and fine lines.
Is microneedling right for you?
A consultation is essential before treatment. Your skin, medical and treatment history, healing considerations and goals must be assessed. Microneedling is not suitable for everyone, and results vary.
Your treatment plan will include preparation guidance, appropriate treatment spacing, aftercare and progress reviews. Downtime and the number of sessions depend on the individual treatment plan.
Other Treatment Options
Microneedling is not the only option for healthy-looking skin. Depending on your concerns and suitability, other treatments may be considered as alternatives or at different stages of your skincare journey.
BioRePeel and Chemical Peels
Selected peels may be considered for concerns involving surface texture, dullness and uneven tone. They require an individual assessment and must follow the appropriate product protocol. Peels are not automatically combined with microneedling.
Oxygen facials and Hydradermabrasion
For clients whose primary concerns include dehydration, dullness or a desire for refreshed-looking skin, a suitable oxygen facial or hydradermabrasion treatment may be considered.
Dermaplaning and Microdermabrasion
These treatments may be options for selected surface-texture concerns. They are not appropriate for every skin condition, and the decision depends on your assessment.
Your program may use one main treatment approach or change over time as your skin responds. More intensive treatments are not necessarily more effective for every client.
How your treatment journey works
1. Initial consultation: We discuss your goals, current skincare routine, medical and treatment history, and any concerns about recovery.
2. Individual assessment: Your skin is assessed to determine suitable options and whether a procedure should be deferred or avoided.
3. Personalized plan: We discuss recommended treatments, preparation, expected downtime, aftercare and costs before you decide to proceed.
4. Progress reviews: We reassess your skin and adjust the plan based on tolerance, observed changes and your goals.
5. Ongoing maintenance: Where appropriate, we discuss home care, sun protection and future maintenance appointments.
Supporting healthy-looking skin at home

Professional treatments work alongside daily skincare. Depending on your needs, your routine may include gentle cleansing, moisturizer, broad-spectrum sunscreen and suitable active ingredients introduced at an appropriate pace.
Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Is microneedling suitable for everyone?
A: No. A consultation is needed to assess your skin, health history, healing considerations and potential contraindications before treatment.
Q2: When will I see results?
A: This depends on the concern and treatment. Changes in texture may take time and may require a series of appropriately spaced sessions. Results vary.
Q3: How many appointments are included?
A: There is no fixed series for everyone. Your recommended schedule and pricing will be discussed after assessment
Q4: Can I combine microneedling and a peel?
A: Not automatically. Combining procedures can increase irritation and other risks. Any combination must be supported by the specific product instructions, appropriate professional training and an individualized assessment.
Q5: Is anti-aging skincare only for mature skin?
A: No. Treatment plans can be adapted to adults with different concerns, including early fine lines, dehydration, dullness and texture changes.
